Castle and chimneys
Nothing beats the stately majesty of the Welsh castles. The way they dominate the towns all along the coast. Edward I may have built them to intimidate the local inhabitants but 700 years on still they impress visitors with their scale and power.
You can walk round the walls of Conway in no time and wherever you stand there’s this castle dwarfing the rooves and chimneys of the town.
